About us

Who we are

Chitoliro Heroines FC is a women's football club committed to sporting excellence and expanding opportunities for women and girls through football.

The club combines a competitive first-team programme with a longer-term commitment to talent identification, player development, partnerships and women's empowerment.

We believe talented girls should have a visible pathway from their first experience of football to competitive and elite-level opportunities.

Our vision

To become one of Malawi's leading women's football institutions, recognised for sporting excellence, player development and positive impact for girls and young women.

Our mission

To build a competitive and sustainable women's football club that creates opportunities for girls and young women to develop as athletes, leaders and role models through football.

What we stand for

Performance

We compete to win and continuously improve our standards on and off the pitch.

Community

Sustainable football development starts with supporters, communities, schools, academies and grassroots football.

Our journey

From regional football to the national game.

Chitoliro Heroines FC has progressed from regional women's football into Malawi's national women's football structure.

The club's rise reflects our ambition to build a competitive institution capable of developing players and competing at the highest level of domestic women's football.

Today, Chitoliro Heroines FC competes in the NBM Women's Premiership, marking an important new chapter in the club's development.

Our focus now is on establishing ourselves at the highest domestic level while continuing to strengthen our technical, management, commercial and player-development structures.
